Environmental Management

First Security understands the value of responsible Environmental Management practices within our industry.

We are dedicated to providing a sustainable workplace while working actively with our clients, employees, contractors and suppliers to ensure we minimize any impacts of our activities on the environment and to identify, implement, and promote best practice environmental management.

First Security maintains third party certification by SAI Global to ISO 14001:2004 which ensures independent assessment of ongoing compliance to this international standard.

The First Security Environmental Management System provides the following benefits:

Health & Safety

Workplace health and safety is the number one operational priority for First Security.

We are committed to industry leading integrated management systems covering health, safety, the environment and quality. All of our systems are accredited to recognised international standards.

We continually work to ensure that all our practices are fully compliant with the applicable HSEQ legislation, regulations' and standards.

We maintain a comprehensive range of policies, plans and procedures to manage the quality of our service and our exposure to a diverse range of OHS and environmental risks. These include standard operating procedures, assignment instructions and safe work method statements, which collectively consolidate into our structural Contract Management Plans.

Through a structured approach to induction, training and assessment, we ensure that everyone at First Security is aware of their rights and responsibilities in regard to health, safety, the environment and quality.

Quality Management

It complies with the requirements of ISO9001, AS4421-2011 Guard and Patrol Security Services and Risk Management ISO31001 addressing risk management activities.
